We're really excited about the latest work we've been able to release. It's been a privilege to serve such fabulous clients. Here are some projects we recently finished. Check them out and and kick the tires.
Healing Hands Massage
Rosemary White is a massage therapist who works in and around Sonoma County. As part of a comprehensive rebranding and relaunch of her practice, Rosemary worked with Siteshine to design an elegant and welcoming Web site that would appeal to her clientele.
"Siteshine made me an amazing Web site that I feel proud to show all my clients," says Rosemary. "It's so great to have all my info in one place, and I can tell people to go to my site and it's all there. I don't have to explain everything when I talk to a new person."
In addition to the Web site, Siteshine designed the logo and color scheme for Healing Hands Massage which was used for business cards, brochures, and other printed materials. Explains Rosemary: "Everyone loves my brochure, and my logo design is perfect because I love butterflies and natural colors (earth tones)."
Siteshine also integrated an online service that allows people to buy gift certificates instantly and send them over e-mail. It's fully transparent to users of the site and the backend is connected with Healing Hands' merchant account. After being trained by Siteshine, Rosemary is able to change her prices and services on a regular basis on both the main site and the gift certificate service.
"Jared really knows what he's doing, and when I explained to him the concept of what I wanted, he gave me several options of color schemes and we were able to get everything set up quickly. Now I know how to edit the site when I need to, and it's simple to use."
Do you want an attractive and useful online presence like Healing Hands Massage has? Contact Siteshine today and let us know how we can best serve you.
(Note: Rosemary is a principal in Siteshine.)
Exchange Bucket
Timothy Youngs works in Santa Rosa as a contractor. He approached Siteshine with the vision of allowing buyers and sellers to come together to trade items and converse about do-it-yourself projects.
"The idea for the ExchangeBucket developed from a need I saw in the construction industry for builders and homeowners to have an outlet to sell excess materials after the completion of a job. It soon grow into an online community with forums and the ability to buy and sell tools and equipment as well," Timothy says.
On the site, members have the ability to add listings with attached photos and location metadata to aid in searches. Anyone who signs up can contact the owner of a listing to find out details or arrange a trade. There is also a discussion forum right on the site for members to share tips & tricks related to the building industry.
"Siteshine took an idea of mine that was still in the dream stage and turned it into a reality; from a few sketches on notepaper to a professional looking and working website," Timothy continues. "The process was easy and enjoyable. When there were aspects that I found confusing or beyond me, the Siteshine team explained it to me in a way that I could understand. Overall I give Siteshine a five star rating for their service and continued support."
Siteshine did the graphics, programming, and integration of Google AdSense for ExchangeBucket. We can do it for you.
Update: in the site's recent transition from American Builders Exchange to ExchangeBucket, Siteshine helped redesign the logo and front page and transfer the content seamlessly to its new domain.
CenterPoint Chiropractic
“Siteshine has given a definite glow to my Web presence. It was one of the best marketing decisions I have made in the last five years in business!” — Dr. Toth
When chiropractor Dr. Douglass Toth needed to build a Web site to support his burgeoning Santa Rosa-based practice, he turned to Siteshine. On our first visit to CenterPoint Chiropractic, we noticed his office already exhibited a distinct color scheme and design style, and our mission was to translate the care and warm welcome Dr. Toth's patients receive into an effective online presence.
The results speak for themselves. With CenterPoint Chiropractic now online, Dr. Toth is able to reach a broader base of people looking to improve their quality of life, as well as provide additional easy-to-access information for existing clients.
"I now get people calling to make an appointment with me over other people on the Internet because they liked my Web site," says Dr. Toth. "So the very reasonable cost to pay for the Web site is being repayed almost immediately."
Getting your foot in the online door is a good first step, but not all sites are created equal. Careful attention to detail and an eye to crafting a satisfying experience will make all the difference. We look forward to partnering with you and going the extra mile in creating a great Web site.
The Flute Portal
Geoffrey Ellis is the co-founder and community leader for The Flute Portal, a premier destination for information, discussion, and multimedia relating to World Flutes and music. As he describes it:
"The Flute Portal was conceived early in 2006 by myself and Jeff Ball to fill what we perceived as a major resource gap in the world of flute enthusiasts. The idea of having a web site that was user interactive and feature laden was a bit of a dream at first (since neither of us knew the first thing about web design). We were inspired by this need, but unable to do anything apart from talking about it.
"When I finally had enough motivation to want to bring this idea closer to reality, I contacted Jared [Siteshine's Creative Director]. He had the background and the vision to give solid form to these ideas and he set about doing it in a very thoughtful way."
The Flute Portal was launched towards the end of 2006. Since then, it has continued to grow rapidly. Last year, it became clear that an overhaul of the underlying infrastructure was needed to support new features such as digital music streaming and an updated profile design.
Geoffrey worked with Siteshine to build a new Flute Portal that sports a robust Music section for artists to upload their profile information, audio tracks, and discography, as well as embed videos from YouTube and Vimeo. Other features include an activity stream that pulls in recent data from the forum and blog sites we had set up a couple of years prior, PayPal-based sponsorships from users, and Google AdManager integration.
The new Portal went online at the end of 2009, and numerous artists have already added profiles and songs to the site. More features are planned for launch in later 2010. "Jared's experience in the larger world of corporate web design and maintenance had given him a philosophy of design that focuses on making the site elegant and easy to navigate," says Geoffrey. "This was exactly what I was looking for and our users love the way the site has evolved. I'm really looking forward to the next phase of the construction! I appreciated the high level of professionalism that was exhibited, as well as the excellent communication at every phase of the project. I’m counting on Siteshine to see us through our continuing development."
We're excited about this important milestone in the history of the Flute Portal. Check out the new site today, and enjoy the custom-designed music player we created just for the Portal. Then let us know how we can bring your business into the spotlight with a custom-designed Web site.
